Answer: The mat is very buoyant, meaning it slides and moves easily on top of the water. The surface is not slippery, even when wet. Easy to stand on but will move under your feet when there is a lot of activity so it is tricky to stand up when that happens. -

This thing is incredible! It’s durable and solid. It does take some time and effort to pump up. You better be in shape. It’s pretty heavy, even for a guy! We had it out yesterday and a lot of people stopped by and asked to try it out. Everyone loved it.

We live on a big lake complete with a dock but the REEF Mat added new fun for our 10 and 12 year old grandsons. We attached it to our boat mooring ball in deeper water and they enjoyed being further out in the water and have had hours of fun jumping off it , having noodle fights, etc. It is very stable and stays above water level. It's not easy to get up on if you are older - there's nothing to grab on to - but the youngsters and middle aged gang did fine. Adults enjoyed just lounging on it. It's not too heavy for two to carry but the handles should be closer together as your arms are fully extended making it uncomfortable and hard to tip on it's side if you need to get through a narrow place.

Great and exactly what I was looking for. We live on the lake and wanted a floating dock for us to hang out on in the water. This is truly dock like, mats go under water and sink easily. This is the opposite, it’s firm and stays above water. The thing is definitely heavy and little awkward to move around but great for parties

We're thrilled with our new raft. It's not hard for big adults to get on, and our 10 year old neighbors visit twice a day to play. It's remarkably stable, a great addition to our lake toys.

We could not be any happier with this mat! Very rugged construction, our son and his friends will spend hours on it, and it's a fuel saver rather than spending half the day boating while towing a tube up and down the river. We needed something which we could throw in our 19-foot boat and inflate at our destination. Takes only a few minutes to inflate. The supplied pump does a great job to top up the air and get the right pressure. Having to wait another 2 weeks for the bag was a pain. Otherwise, one of our best summer purchases ever!!!

My family and I just took ours out on the lake. We inflated it using a bicycle pump, because our electronic blower wasn't working. But it didn't take nearly as long as we thought it would. This thing IS MASSIVE and sturdy.
