    Customer questions & answers

Question: Is there anyway to vent my portable ac?
Answer: I've seen these ports that you can install to run a chimney pipe for a small wood burning stove. You screw a piece in from inside/outside the tent and cut out the canvas. I bet you could also run an ac tube in and out through it.

Question: How does this tent do in cold season camping; 30degrees or less?
Answer: I camped out while ice fishing in Maine in temps down to 0, I was by myself in the Prota deluxe 10 x 14. I had a Mr. Heater 9000 btu heater. Tent stayed about 20 degrees warmer then outside on low 4000 btu setting. The tent was noticeably warmer then outside. There was a lot of condensation on the inside of the tent though. The only way to prevent this is to ventilate, which lets out heat. The tent held up great in the wind, I love it!

Question: Is it 10x14 including the awning, ir is the tent itself 10x14?
Answer: The footprint itself is 10x14. Awning isn't included in that size. We love ours!

Question: If forced to pitch this tent on an asphalt slab, maybe the only place in a campground, is that possible?
Answer: Only if the slab is smaller than the tents footprint. These tents need to be securely staked down, they are not freestanding.

Question: Does it have a lower vent/flap?
    Answer: Yea

This is an amazing tent! Worth the money and the quality is amazing, down side is the weight,it’s heavy! But for what you need it for it has to be heavy! Easy assembling but 2 people are needed! If you buy this be prepared to be amazed at the quality of everything from the tent to the bag 🤗

We couldn’t be happier with this tent. We are a family of 4. We use Coleman cots. There is plenty of room for our 4 cots, plus a 80 pound dog in a dog bed to move inbetween the cots to get dressed and move around. Yes, the tent is heavy but it is a canvas tent. We have had it in a couple of rain storms and the inside was completely dry. This tent stays warm when you want it to but with the large windows, you can easily cool it down. I recommend this tent to everyone!

This is my first canvas tent. So far I have been very impressed with this tent. It is large and has plenty of room. I really enjoy being able to stand up in the tent being I am 6' 2". First time setting it up it took about 40 minutes and should take about half the time now that I know what I'm doing.

I had a hard time installing, the explanation booklet is missing, I was able to install after long efforts. But used 2 times and I like it

It is a beautifully crafted tent, but as it is canvas, it is quite heavy. The bag is 64.5 pounds. I assembled it on the front lawn on my own. I'm a relatively fit 60 year old man but I was hard pressed to get the two upright pipes that flank the tent, into their respective positions in the two T-pipes that cross the top. At first I didn't even think it was possible as the resistance did not seem to allow the fabric to stretch like that - but eventually I was able to get them in. Perhaps with a second person it would be easier.
