Question:Is there an auto follow function?
Answer:Yes there is, it's a walk the dog function where the remote is a leash. Video isn't working or I'd show you. If you look at the remote on the left side looks kinda like a dog, press that and keep the remote where your a-plus can see it. Then walk normal pace, not fast, in this mode s-plus doesn't go that fast, like maybe 3 miles per hour.
Question:Do you have to keep squeezing that between your thighs the entire time you are riding it?

Question:Is the piece between your legs removable?
Answer:It is removable for transportation or storage. It is used for steering while you ride, so it must be in at that time.

1. It's a beauty. Lots of smiles and compliments.2. Easy to stop, stand still and go again.3. It handled NYC's sidewalks pretty okay. Going up/down uneven, rough ramps worked fine.4. Zippy in sports mode. Make sure to manually put it into this mode.

This thing is awesome as a Disc Golf cart and I can get my feet under the bag to ride it when needed. I've added a bag(bicycle panniers pictured) as my disc bag, a 3d printed handle purchased from a 3rd party. I also put a 'leg bag' on the front that holds my putter and some small items. I added a bicycle water bottle holder and of course, the Bushnell range finder! I'm old and having this thing to ride from the parking lot and even between holes is great, but the best part is the 'follow me' mode. I get a lots of comments on the course as they watch my robot caddie follow me around!

This Segway ninebot S Plus worked fine including remote. This is the second segway I have ordered in less than year. The first one was the Ninebot S, and my wife liked it so much, I ordered a second (the plus) so we each have one going camping and adventures. I am over fifty and wife is over forty and these are very easy to learn. I use mine at work a lot. I bought the handle bars for both of them. Wife and eye feel a lot more comfortable with the handle bars. This second one (plus) I choose over the Max model because of the follow mode, the max does not have. I would definitely recommend these peoducts

At age 67, I found this easy to ride (note, I'm in good health and have good balance), and I weigh about 165lbs. Wear a helmet! S Plus works exactly as expected, no defects, great battery life. Unless you ride for a couple of hours, you will get worn out way before the battery runs down. The air-filled tires make the ride comfortable and smooth over regular terrain. FYI, if you have trouble finishing the tutorial (to unlock full speed), make sure you downloaded the CORRECT app. There are two of them. You want the global one.
