Question: how many oars?
Answer: It comes with one large paddle that splits in to two smaller oars so ideal if alone to use the paddle or split if two people using itQuestion: what is maximum weight it can best carry??
Answer: In our case it copes with two grandchildren - 12 and 15 without problems in the sea off Cliftonville Margate. They are not big children but we have seen that it is not so easy with the smaller of the two in his own and a plastic container with 5 gallons of water in it helps to balance it. However it has been used very often in those waters though my son and daughter in law are strict as to how far he can go out. Anyway they much prefer riding the surf to long distance canoeing. Hope this helps - they are both good swimmersQuestion: Does this kayak come with a paddle and pump?
Answer: one paddle but no pump. not tried it on water yet but it does seem a decent bit of kit for priceQuestion: Staying well within the weight allowances, could a child “passenger” be carried? (Family of 3x mum, dad, and a 2 year old)?
Answer: Hi N Craven, Yes as long as you stay within the weight capacity you could take a small child with you, but there is no designated seat for them to use.Question: Would this work in the river wye?
Answer: Yes, I had a lovely couple of hours. Left bikes at Symmonds Yat then drove to Kerne Bridge car park. Great to be able to pack away the kayak and only 2.5 miles to cycle back (short cut over the river loops!) -

Yes good canoe worked well with me and my dog on it, I would recommend it to anyone. Seats just sit in it, so the boat holds the seats together

This was an impulse purchase I admit..... We were going to some lakes on holiday and I thought this would be a fun way to explore - and it was! We pack light so 1 of our our luggage allowance was dedicated to kit, and this kayak easily fitted into the bag along with the oars that came with it and the 2 buoyancy jackets we bought separately. We bought some other additional oars but they didn't come apart (they didn't fit in the kit bag...) The ones supplied with the kayak slot together (so they are great for getting into the luggage) and we used them as 2 single rather than a double ended. I'm really happy and will take it on holiday again. Its easy to inflate and deflate and seems to be really sturdy.

Great inflatable boat for first timers who are getting into kayaking, its quick to inflate with a duel action pump (not supplied with this kayak ) is very lightweight and easy to launch , the seats are difficult to inflate as when you remove the pump the valves let the air out ,I've found it best to blow up myself , you will need a skeg to keep the boat in a straight line. All said and done it's great bit of kit for messing about on the water

This kayak is amazing value for money! The pump works really fast. We love our canoe and it easily fits 2 adults and a child. Only thing I will mention is because its the river version it doesn’t have a fin - we didn’t realise this until we went in the sea (calm flat sea in Hove) and it was quite hard to turn. So if you aren’t using it for straight rivers you need to buy a stick on fin. Otherwise amazing product!

Pumping up the 3 chambers takes no time but the seats are a little fiddly to keep air in whilst trying to inflate.Very light and extremely easy to manoeuvre in and out of the water.Seemed very stable and sturdy.

In my second summer of using this kayak, alongside another inflatable canoe and a rigid kayak. I have found this to be really great for the money. So easy to inflate and set up - under 10 minutes from car boot to paddling last time out - and equally easy to roll up again at the end of the session. Tracks and glides well when properly inflated; better with a skeg, but usable without. Very stable and comfortable.It's single skin but seems very robust; I have dragged around a fair bit, and bounced it off all sorts of submerged items and pointy sticks with no problems yet. The paddle that came with it isn't the best, but it is good enough. The only reason I stopped using it (the paddle) about a month ago is I needed a longer one due to being quite tall at 6'4".Overall, very pleased and would definitely recommend.
