Customer questions & answers
Question:Can doors be locked?
Answer:There's no locking nor latching mechanism on the door. There's two small magnets that kind of hold the door fully open or fully closed. They aren't very effective. You would have to get creative with a lock hasp or something along those lines. I used two eye loops and a cord with spring clips to hold mine shut.Question:Do i peel off the plastic sheets on the wall panels?
Answer:You are supposed to peel the plastic sheeting from the wall panels. Note that one side is marked to be the sun side (facing the outside of the greenhouse).Question:Are the Polycarbonate pannels 4 mm thick?
Answer:Yes, I just measured a panel with calipers and the polycarbonate is 3.9 to 4.0mm thick. Bear in mind it is corrugated, double wall poly - like cardboard. But definitely 4mm thick overall.Question:What are the full dimensions of the 6x4 greenhouse: Height, how Wide, and how Deep?
Answer:Hi,
Here are the full dimensions of JULY'S SONG greenhouse.
Height: 6'4"
Wide: 6'2"
Deep: 4'2"Question:How is it oriented? Is the door on the six foot or eight foot side?
Answer:The door is on the 6 foot side. One panel is about 2 foot width.Question:Can this greenhouse be secured to a deck?
Answer:Yes,you can secure our greenhouse to a deck.Question:how can I water plants in green house during winter?
Answer:I always keep a 5 gallon bucket of water in my greenhouse with a smaller bucket so that I can give water to any plant that needs it while I'm in there. If you have a water hose that will reach, I would use it if you can! In areas where its colder and the possibility of the door freezing or getting compacted with snow, I would use a stiff bristled broom to try to gently clean your door tracs so it's easier to open! ALSO, MAKE SURE TO SECURE YOUR GREENHOUSE TO THE GROUND IN SOME WAY! WIND AND GREENHOUSE DO NOT GO WELL TOGETHER!!! Hope this helps! -

This was not easy to assemble, but for the price and the value I think it turned out pretty well. I have the 6 ft wide by 4 ft deep by 6 ft high version, and I put it together by myself and it was quite a task. A little bit of help would have gone a long way.I have yet to put the door on it (that's a job for tomorrow), but it's going to be on the front porch for storage and for my cats to have a place to go in case they get stuck outside in the rain or something. For that, I think it'll be perfect.I am planning on adding a wooden base. I don't want to make it permanent, but it definitely needs something to hold it down.I do feel like the roof panels need more support to hold them in place, but the rest of the panels seem like they are very well retained.Just bear in mind when you are following the directions during assembly, they are referring to the inside of the front and the back, so left and right are reversed. Unless there are two parts that are the same, in which case they'll both be labeled R.

Let me just start by saying, without the videos for assembly on the product page, my husband and I would have really struggled to put it together. But with the videos, it wasn't bad. It seems to be pretty sturdy but time will tell if it will hold up to winters in NY. One thing that my husband did, he put a brace from the door header bar down to the corner of the roof to give more support. Without the brace, the door was binding when being opened and closed. With the brace, it slides without an issue. We also put hooks on the windows to keep the wind from wiping them open. The greenhouse has been up a week and so far everything is great. I definitely recommend!

Bought the 4' x 6' size. The 2 boxes arrived on the same day and had no damage. Husband assembled it and said the instructions had some confusing steps but he was able to figure it out and get it assembled. He did like that each step listed all the parts that are used for the step on the left side of the page. That allowed him to gather the parts prior to starting the step. The panels fit very tightly so be careful when inserting them in the grooves. Our greenhouse is situated on patio pavers and it backs up to a fence which we hope will help block the winds. Since it's on pavers, my husband turned the aluminum base upside down, then bought hook brackets and screw the brackets into the pavers with hook securing the base frame to the pavers. We'll see how well that secures the greenhouse down.We like that there are gutters to direct the rain and have plans to add plastic tubing to the gutter to control drainage. The door also slides easily. The vent window is large and we can easily adjusts the gap opening by selecting one of the holes on the lever and sitting it on the screw post. A very simple operation.I have several of my potted plants stored in the for the winter and we'll see how it holds up in zone 7. Several of the pots are larger than 5 gallons and the interior is large enough to hold all of them so I am happy. We did add a heater to help keeps the plants above freezing. It's a nice looking greenhouse and we're very satisfied and happy with it.

It was a bit of a fight to get some parts to fit at some point but one just had to rearrange the parts so they all fit correctly. It was fun to work on once i got the hang of all the instructions. Tip: get all the parts and make sure theyre all organized dont leave em scattered or else itll be tough. Its a good deal and it was fun besides the first panels are a bit tough if you dont have your coffee or smoke breaks.Enjoy everyone!!

Wife loves it, should of got it years ago. Instruction was a little difficult to follow, but it didn't take long to figure it out. A few things we had to modify, but not a big deal. Cementing the base legs is a most, so do it, also using WD-40 to help slide the panels in will keep you from going crazy...lol. We used 4 bags of much and 12- 12inch by 12inch stepping stones for walk way in the middle.

Overall it is a good value. However, there is an absolute need for better instructions. Instructional videos are available and helpful. Also, because of the way it is designed, there is a need to screw the nuts/bolts on, then screw off and then back on again in certain spots - especially at the corners of the base. This is poor construction technique as once the bolts are in place, it is difficult to get to the required bolt(s) after other parts are assembled close to your target. They tools they include are cheap and ineffective. You need a ratchet set and thin open ended wrenches. In addition, the plastic screens need to be better secured and also put a little axle grease on the bottom track of the sliding door. The vents slide onto a track on top as this is not specified clearly enough. Be sure to absolutely cement the corners, level and square the base before proceeding. Once the greenhouse was built, it seems secure and overall durable, but this needs the test of time. I included some photos and how we built the raised bed inside.
