It's small enough that my 8yr old can drive it, but it's still big enough that a 12-14yr old can also ride it without trouble.

The Massimo Mini Bike is a fun bike for anyone under 150 pounds. The supplied assembly directions are not the same as how the bike comes. Most of the bolts and screws are pre-located and not loose. There are no instructions for mounting the chain guard and side reflectors, but they are pretty self-explanatory. Lining up the front handle bars and installing its long bolt is probably the hardest task. The directions also say that the front wheel spacers are different sized, but our were both the same. Remember to add oil before starting (ours has some in it, but needed more (only takes 1/3 of a quart total)).The bike itself is quite sturdy and the seat is comfortable. It has a choke on the side and an on/off switch on the handle bars. Once gas and oil are added, turn it on, put on the choke, and pull the starting rope (like a lawn mower). It make take some work with the throttle and choke to get the engine to stay on. On our unit, the throttle was way out of line and the engine would not stay running. It took a good hour to get it to stay steady and longer to get it optimized. Once set, it runs pretty good on level smooth ground but huffs and puffs going up hill (unless you are under 150 pounds).

Overall, this is a decent little mini bike for a kid. We had a LOT of issues and a LOT of time and effort was spent to get this put together and running at all.My husband weighs 195 pounds and this thing wouldn’t budge an inch with him on it. Just something to consider.He still thinks it’s a decent little minibike despite all of the problems and that it would be good for a kid.

This is meant for probably a kid 8-9 years and up and they wouldn’t have any complaints and this would probably be the coolest thing ever. I’m an adult and using it to get back and forth at an event we run every Saturday and it’s getting the job done but it has its issues that I notice as someone who knows things about dirt bikes and things like that. I’m sure some things could be modified if you choose to do so.

I got this mini bike for my kids because it looked like lots of fun! This mini bike has a 79 cc engine on it and it really moves. This mini bike is great for riding around the yard, taking camping, and just for fun. My kids love to take turns on this mini bike in the backyard!
