Question: How pounds of sand do you put in the pump and whats the best sand to buy for it?
Answer: It depends on the size of the sand pump. Also size 20 they come in 50 lb if your sand pump is 16 inches so you need 120 pounds.Question: Does the ground need to be completely leveled? I want to put this on a concrete area. A few spots are off by 1-2 degrees but for the most part level.
Answer: 1 or 2 degrees would be fine, this is my second one and both times I have bought half inch foam insulation board to put the pool on.it protects the bottom of the pool and makes it more comfortableQuestion:How big of an area do I need to level out for this pool?
Answer:Two feet beyond the size of the poolQuestion: Is this pool come with salt water system?
Answer: There is an option to buy a saltwater component to the pump system, but it cost extra money. -

To began I want to stay that this pool is huge, that is a plus the preparation is most important due to the ground must be level. I used 4 yards of sand along with 18 inch pavers and 260 lbs of salt for my salt water system. Water is holding crystal clear. Pump is beyond efficient at this point. Super pumped on the build.

Like the pool, watch the ever fluctuating price. And it will be sub contracted to a fly by night freight carrier that may over promise and under deliver. I will follow up with a better review on the pool once up and running. But with the service I have experienced this far I am not optimistic

We are so happy with our purchase so far. This pool is plenty big for our purposes and was well within our budget. It took more than 60 minutes to set it up but it wasn't terrible. There were four of us working. We are fortunate to have a flat concrete slab in the back yard that was just large enough for this pool so I can't comment on leveling dirt, etc. The concrete is pitted though so we bought an extra pad to put under it to make it a bit softer against any potential sharp edges. The sand filter is nice. We've used traditional filters in the past on a much smaller pool and this seems like it will be easier to maintain in the long run. Pros: big, assembly is doable, cost not prohibitive, if we ever get tired of it we can take it down. Cons: the ladder is steep and rickety. We built a deck and bought in-pool stairs to attach to it instead. Getting all of the wrinkles out of the liner before adding water is nearly impossible. Unknown: Durability - I've read some negatives about rust and leaks but it's too soon for me to know about that. I hope I'm not sorry.

Leveled the ground where it was being put. 2 middle aged men and one young lady got the pool up in 6 hours in very hot, humid weather, so lots of breaks were taken. Filled it up the next day. We are still building the deck around it, as you can see. All was good until about a month into operation and the pump's (motor and pump are all one unit) suction decreased dramatically, but was still doing the job and we could still vacuum. When we called Intex about that, they didn't even question it and sent us a new motor/pump. Haven't used it yet, because pool season was over by the time we got it. All in all we are happy, and much cooler, customers!

Wow! This pool is simply great! For starters, the purchase price was inexpensive for the size and quality of pool. The assembly instructions were pretty easy (mind you, I'm not as handy I think I am). I also cheated a bit and viewed a You Tube video on how to build the pool 😊 The quality of the pool itself and parts were solid and durable. Should be warming up soon. Can't wait to add the water so we can start swimming soon!

The box is huge. I have not set it up but my neighbor Has one and loves it. I just ordered the automatic vacuum as well. Looking forward to the summer

I have two boys ages 16 and 9. Perfect for them both. A really nice size pool. We can do some laps in it instead of swimming in circles. I have always wanted a rectangle pool, I am so happy with the purchase of this one.

Up and running(with modifications, I installed a thru wall skimmer) and have ZERO complaints about it so far.

This pool is amazing and big! We had a super sand pump filter we attached to it just because it is a super pump but the one that comes with it is great to, I'll use it as a back up pump if needed
