Customer questions & answers
Question: Our daughter is 8 years old and is 53" inches tall. We were wondering if she would fit comfortably in this treehouse? Thx
Answer: My 10 year olds play in ours. It can fit two 10 year olds and our 5 year old and 2 year old. All are tall for their age and if they all get in there they can be cramped but they often play in ours!Question: What size are the windows
Answer: The windows on the scenic playhouse are about 31 3/8" wide. -

We are very impressed with this fort! After reading all the other reviews, we were already thinking ahead to the large open window that poses a fall hazard. My husband built a screen for both open windows Its adorable!!! I dont understand why the company doesn’t address that problem by making the plastic window pains for the larger windows, like they do the smaller ones. We also replaced the front steps with a slide. We are unveiling it this afternoon . They are going to LOVE it!! Ages 2 & 3 1/2

Took 2 nights of about 4 hours each night to complete, with 2 people. Keep in mind it comes in two boxes and parts are not in order, so look in both boxes for the pieces you need. Our kids are 4 and 2 and they love it. We put sand in the bottom to make a sand box and kept the stairs off the front and put on a slide. We also left off the saloon doors. I'd say best for ages 18months-5yrs

The design and materials are very nice. The end product is perfect scale for 3 to 8 year old children. Construction is well documented but is a lengthy process. I am very experienced and have tools (power screw driver is essential) for the project and is took about 20 hr with two people to complete. Based on prior projects, I invested the first hour sorting all the parts into label order around the yard and did the same with the fasteners. That paid big dividends later. The 7 yr old became the parts finder, big help and great to let her participate in the build.

Its perfect for the small place I had it, My 4 kids (ages 8, 5, 4, and 2) LOVE it. I got it for them at christmas time, and my father helped me put it together, it did require two people and a table to put it together and a couple of power drills to screw everything together. I took us about 4 hours to get it all together (with a stop for lunch).

My son, who's 2, loves this playset. I can also get inside, but my husband can't fit. I can see my kids getting many hours of fun out of this in the next few years. It's the perfect size for 2-4 age kids. I bought the slide attachment for the front and he loves that as well. My complaints are the back window is large and very open. Easy for a toddler to fall (or jump) out of. We've put up some lattice wood to better protect from falls. It should come with something for that window. It took my husband and brother in law 1.5 full days to set it up. They are both fairly handy so if you aren't you would struggle. Overall I am very happy with the purchase!

Love this play house. It arrived three weeks early. It was in two large boxes. The instructions were easy to follow and we had it together in about four hours. Only structural issue would be the saloon door hardware is not ideal. The parts didn't line up great so we had to trim the wood a small bit. After they were on we realized they just didn't work proper. We bought new hardware from Lowe's and now they work great. *Easy fix. Another thing we did was add wooden slats to the windows. Our son (12 months) would try to climb out the window. *Easy fix. We also added the slide. We are very pleased with this set.

I love this cute playhouse, kids spend all day outside. My husband added bars to the windows so our one year wouldn’t fall out. Bought a slide and left off swinging doors. It took my husband about 12 hours to put together. He did it in two evenings by himself. My husband said the holes where all drilled very nice and everything lined up well and very well marked.

Having a small backyard, this is perfect. I took others suggestions and instead of the ladder, we upgraded to a slide. It does take an immense amount of time to build, I put all the part is order while my husband built it to speed things up (still took two days). It was worth it, my son is obsessed! I’m hoping to convince my husband to build a little fridge for the kitchen area.
