Great goal! My family is really enjoying it. Height adjustment works really well. I’d recommend using the instructions on the BILT app and use the paper instructions as a back up if needed. After the base was set in concrete, it took only a couple of hours to fully assemble and install. A few tips based on my install experience. The nuts provides are a special type of center locking nut. You can start them by hand but will need tools to tighten them. They will fit! Bolts - make sure you have the right length bolt for each step. Some are really close in length to others so check length before each step and grab the right one. If installing near a fence or a wall, leave 12” clear behind the main pole. This will leave enough space to operate the height adjustment lever after installed. Also if you are curious, the height lever attaches at about 70.5” above the ground after installed.

I just finished assembling the hoop over the weekend. My 11-year old son loves it. The instructions were clear and accurate and all hardware was appropriately included. You have to pay close attention and take your time with assembly. It took several hours to assemble. I filled the base with 8 bags of 50 lb. play sand. I used an empty plastic drink container as a funnel after cutting off the bottom, and it worked great. I was unable to do an in-ground installation due to underground utilities, so this was the next best option at a low cost.

First ordering here was easy and the hoop arrived a day early.Day one, one person, 1.5 hours spent unpacking and assembling poles, and poles to base. Then review of instructions.Day two, one person, 4 hours, complete assembly. Instructions are clear, all parts are in labeled bags. The hardest part was attachingThe support poles (4) for the backboard to the pole attached to the base. I basically used my truck bed and a saw horse to make this work out. It would have probably taken much less time to assemble had I had a second set of hands. All parts-every piece was included. I would concur that some of the bolts should be a Grade better, only because I like to over do.I am pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Only had the hoop for a week, but the quality for the price is second to none. I was super impressed with the directions--VERY easy to follow. Took me about 6 hours solo--but I'm the least handy person you'll meet. Could likely cut time in half if you have a few people on it. Kids will be NBA ready soon.. 😜

Nice basketball hoop!! I was able to do the entire installation by myself. From the hole, cement, and assembly. Now I just have to have some good weather to get the kids out.I did final assembly in the back of my truck and then backed up to the cemented in post to fit it all together. Two people would be nice but it can be done with one.

Basic install, nice look, solid feel. When installing err on the side of being too high, as it must have sunk into the concrete more than planned and doesn’t quite reach 10 ft at the rim.

I knocked off 1 star from the product due to the assembly instructions not being so clear therefore making it much harder to put together than I was expecting. Some parts were so unclear that after I built, I saw it was wrong and had to redo... maybe my fault, but instructions could be much better, with clear steps and description... Also, the opening to add sand/water is very narrow and it makes the whole process of adding sand a pain in the back (literally!!)...With the negatives said above, once you put it all together, I only have good things left! :)Moving the backboard system with the compartment filled with sand was much easier than I was expecting and we were able to position it in different places with ease till we found the best location for our needs.The height adjustment is incredible! VERY EASY to adjust in ANY height you want. Any adult can do it with 1 hand... However I would not recommend kids to change it...The bounce of the ball on the backboard is not same as glass, but I cannot complain about it. I knew it was polycarbonate before buying. So just be aware.... to me it was not an issue...Sturdiness: we filled the ground compartment fully with sand only. It is enough and worked perfectly.Overall, it's a great product, well made and it seems that it will last for several years. Time will tell... :)I recommend the product if you are looking to add a basketball board in your driveway for your kids and you are not sure if you want to spend a lot of money on a "professional" grade system....
