Question:Why is shipping taking so long?Answer:I wouldn't trust the other answer. I got a Gotrax scooter in 2 days from Taomotors Canada. It likely never shipped from one place to another place etcQuestion:How many shock absorbers on this scooter?Answer:This is an entry level scooter and the only shock absorber you get if from air tire same as any regular bicycle.If that wasn’t enough just go for different expensive brands with springs alright they are all on YouTube.Question:Is it durable, has anyone had it for months without issues?Answer:I've been riding this scooter 5 or 6 days a week on roads and trails for around 3 months and the only issue I have had is a flat rear tire after 2 months, it was easy to replace the old air filled tire with a solid honeycomb tire to avoid future flats.Question:If the scooter is charging but isn’t fully charged yet and I took it off charge to ride because I had to go somewhere will that damage the battery?Answer:No, you just get more battery life and keep riding -

Took it on my first ride, really like the controls, speed is perfect for me, 15mph. Climbs up small hills, with nice power and rides really smooth on the streets, sidewalks are a bit bumpy but tolerable. If it’s cold outside, I find the power drains , quicker but you’ll reach your destination before your battery power runs out. Rode around for a hour, power indicator showed 2-3 bars.Not bad can’t wait till when the weather is warmer, so I can truly test this machine.A very good transporter overall.

Had this delivered today and it took me about 10 minutes to assemble. Make sure it's fully charged before you use it the first time. I just had to top up the battery, took 5 minutes. Wasn't sure what to expect for a budget commuter escooter but after I took it on a 10 mile cruise with descent hills (nothing crazy straight up) at top speed of 15.5mph straight I am impressed. On the steeper hills i was going anywhere from 9-15.5mph. Did a lot of stops also. Had under half a battery left when I got home. It's suppose to last 18 miles I think. For the total price of $517 after I used a coupon it is great value. You will have lots of fun!!! I am waiting for the second one to arrive now. :)

Cruise control works but is sensitive.It's solid have taken off curbs.Regenerative break works well used downhill.Even on hardpacked mud and gravel it still rips.For the price you cannot go wrong. We will see how it runs after winter that will be a good test.Not sure if batteries are self discharging but if they are I would recommend charging up and letting drain itself every month to keep the battery healthy.
